Claire broke down in tears when their kids came out on stage to join them

The band took their 20th anniversary tour to north London last night to film a concert DVD of the show.

When performing hit song 5, 6, 7, 8, the bandmates introduced their kids – and seven mini Steps came out onto the stage.

Claire, Lisa Scott-Lee, Ian ‘H’ Watkins and Faye Tozer all brought out their offspring – with Lee Latchford-Evans being the only member not to have children.

H showed off his 18-month-old twins with his partner Craig Ryder, Macsen and Cybi, who were born via a surrogate last March.

Claire was seen crying as the kids joined in with their parents singing The Way You Make Me Feel, including her son and daughter, Charlie and Daisy.

Lisa’s little girl Star Lily also did a solo performance to the audience of more than 12,000 fans.

The band formed in May 1997 and released four albums and seventeen singles.

Steps had many hits between 1997 and 2001. including two number one singles, two number one albums, 14 consecutive top five  singles and a string of hits throughout Europe.

The group has sold more than 20 million records worldwide.

Fans hearts were broken when they broke up on Boxing Day in 2001, after Claire and H left the band.

But they later reunited and things are looking up for the band now as their new tour sold out – with them having to add extra dates to accommodate demand.
